Wireless remote water level monitoring system is effectively used in automation, data acquisition & control of pumps. Wireless unit transmits water level signals from remote reservoir to a central monitoring station. Central monitoring station has desktop PC with suitable software to register levels as per real time. This unit plays important role in Municipal, Regional Water Supply Schemes.

Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) is installed at the tank of which water levels is to be monitored in three different levels, such as empty,  50% and100%. To sense the water level Contact Free Sensors are used, these sensors are rugged in construction and suitable for this application. RTU senses water level & sends a signal to Central Master Unit. The unit has been powered with mains supply or solar power through battery so as to inform water level change to Central Monitoring Station even power supply is not available. The enclosure is suitable for outdoor installation in engineering plastic or in M.S. enclosure which ever is suitable to application. Enough precaution is taken for protection against surge and line voltage variation.

PC at Central Monitoring Station  receives the data from RTU through wireless RF network. The unit has been powered with mains supply with precautions against surge and voltage variation. The received data , here which is in the form of water level will be displayed over specially prepared frames of software. PC has facility to store water level data of E.S.R. User can find out about the water supply data tank during required period. 

PC should have supporting software. The data will be collected at PC through Intelligent RF Modem.
